Donating Books and Other Materials
We accept donations of books, DVDs, Blu-ray, music CDs, puzzles, or video games, if they are in good condition. Your donations may be added to the New Richmond Community Library’s collections or to the Friends of the New Richmond Community Library’s book sale fundraisers.
Donation day is every Tuesday from 12:00-6:00 pm. Please plan to drop off large donations on these days. Volunteers will greet you at the industrial doors on the south side of the library and help you unload your donations.
If you have a large donation and cannot attend the donation days, please contact the Friends of the New Richmond Community Library through email at friends@newrichmondlibrary.org to schedule a donation drop off for another day of the week.
Please do not leave donations outside library doors after hours or in the library book drop.
Read the complete Guidelines for Donations.
Memorials, Bequests and Cash Donations
Library patrons can support the work of the library through monetary donations. Donors can give to the ongoing work of the library, designate purchase of materials to a particular area (i.e. children’s books, large print) or for ongoing and special projects as they arise.
Memorials in the name of loved ones are accepted and appreciated. Nameplates are placed in the front of any materials or furniture purchased. Memorials may also be given for the ongoing work of the library.
You can also leave a lasting gift to the community by including the New Richmond Community Library in your estate planning.
